"I've had my phone for about 2 years and I'm now faced with the challenge of finding a replacement. I need to upgrade as the numbers have worn away on the keypad but I don't want to get the exact same phone again. The memory could be larger as I often have to delete messages or photos. Overall, it's definitely the best phone I've ever had - can't believe I've had it so long!"

"I have used Nokia phones for as long as I can remember, wouldn't use anything else. Like all the features of the 6300 especially the flashing side lights for messages and calls. Wish they all had that feature. Thinking of changing but haven't found one with similar features yet."

"I have had this phone for several months and have noticed that when I use it for calls it gets very hot very quickly. I am on pay as you go so i try to text mostly but as soon as i use for a call it gets hot and i don't feel happy using it."

DOESN'T BREAK- NOKIA 6300

"I bought this phone because I needed one that was realible, stable and had a camra that showed a good picture. This phone has done all that. So far it has been in the bath (opps slippery fingers!) and has fallen off high places 1000x. even when the case comes off and the battery flys out it still works a charm. the camra could be slightly better but i can still take good pictures of my friends and place them on facebook. However I find nokia has always been good to me, my first nokia was a A50 back in 2001 and that still worked after I dropped it off a fairground ride!!!"

Very Good Phone

"I was a bit worried to how well the 2 megapixel camera was going to be but I was happily surprised that it took very good quality images which i printed on a 6 by 4 inch postcard. It's sleek design is a winner as well. It's music player is extremely good and i was very pleased with that.
Overall i am very pleased with this phone."

"For a 'cheap' phone I am surprised how good it is, used it for 20 months now and have had no issues, the handset has a quality feel and all functions work flawlessly, voice clarity is very good too. When I first got it I was concerned the the keys were a bit small and close to each other but it's never been a problem.
The only thing I would change is the battery life, it's acceptable but not great, I'm a light user and it needs charging every 2-3 days, Whilst the camera isn't up to much (2mp) the pictures can be edited in picasa to give some improvement, but then if you want to take good pictures you buy a dedicated camera.
I have recently replaced the phone with my new contract, after looking at reviews for a lot of the up market nokias I decided to stick with the same and went for a 6301, identical but offering wifi-uma and a better battery life.
All phones have their faults, the 6300's faults I know I can live with."

"This phone is ideal for people like me who are bamboozled by the features on some of the mobile phones of today. It is a great easy to use phone with very user friendly call and text services. There is also a camera which again is very easy to use and takes excellent quality pictures.
One of my favourite features is the blue flashing light that indicates if you have missed a call. Fantastic if you are in a busy place and do not hear your phone as you only need to glance in your bag to be alerted of this.
It is slimline and stylish without being too flashy. Overall a great phone without all the fuss."

"Great phone to make calls. A battery keeps at least 7 days having about 3h calls per week. The speaker's sound is acceptable. A camera has 2mpx, it is not great to make photos that will be moved into computer, but it is good for making photos as a mobile's wallpapers. I recommend this phone."

"This phone was the best phone I have ever seen. It is very clean and simple, and it has lots of features. I would like to see some sort of application marketplace in future on the phones - the built in 'Catalog' seems to be well out of date. Still, it's a good phone. shinny slim and stylish, could be better

"I upgraded to the 6300 from a 6230, the screen was a lot more crisp compared to it, I was impressed with the screen, but it does scratch easily, as does the polished steel plate at the back so no longer shinny. the interface was different from the original one I had for 2 years it served me well the only thing I changed was the battery.
the only complant I would have of this phone is the battery life isn't that good, I do text a lot during the day and it only lasts me about 1 and a half days which was a disapointment. I would of expect it to be longer between charges.
the quality of the camera isnt TOO bad for a phone camera, transfering them onto the computer to have a look, its ok for a quick snap if you want like a memo of what you have seen in a shop and compare.
the buttons I found where a tiny bit small on the black part of the phone where you answer and end calls, would I thought could of been maximized using the whole of the black area of the screen instead of just leaving gaps."
